From the outset, we aimed for a system that would work as well in everyday tools (email, Word documents, simple PDFs) as it would in print or on the web. The concept that rose to the top through our consultation with Kaz was the fern with a subtle nod to growth, learning and ideas unfolding. Paired with a calm, trustworthy blue palette, to reflect Kaz’s style.
We refined the logo and went through various iterations, focusing on legibility at small sizes, clean spacing and a wordmark that feels confident and recognisable. Then began building a brand and visual identity around this mark.
We delivered a full branding suite for Kaz, including a branding guidelines document, email signature, theory of change and marketing short leaflet to be sent out to Kaz’s clients.
An identity that can stretch across web design, print and social medias as needed. With easy to grasp guidelines for future applications.
I approached KCS to help me out with some branding and a website for my new company. Jennie and Steve worked seamlessly together to create a wonderful set of marketing for me.
